Spring break food drive
Help stop hunger in our youth!
We're collecting non-perishable food items, snacks, and some personal hygiene items for distribution to homeless youth in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Stafford, King George, and Caroline during the upcoming spring break.
As of January 2016, there were 927 homeless youth in our region: Fredericksburg - 112; Spotsylvania - 412; Stafford - 303; King George - 55; and Caroline - 45.
You can assist by dropping off needed items at Mount Hope Baptist Church, 6823 Harrison Road, Fredericksburg VA 22407 from February 15 through March 16, 2016, between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays or between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
You can also assist to bag up donated materials on Wednesday, March 16 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mount Hope Baptist Church, 6823 Harrison Road, Fredericksburg VA 22407.

Mac & cheese for microwave
Mixed nuts / dried fruit mixes
Packets of pre-cooked brown rice
Cereal (small / regular)
Juice boxes / sports drinks / bottled water
Microwave popcorn (low butter / sodium)
Peanut butter (individual / regular)
Individual boxes of raisins
Bags of beans & brown rice
Fruit cups / applesauce cups
Animal crackers/Teddy grahams
Personal hygiene items needed
Shampoo / conditioner
Toothpaste / toothbrush
